Frances (Richardson) Rushing

Frances Richardson Rushing, 84, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born June 3, 1933 in Union County, NC daughter to the late Willie Ledford Eva Bright Simpson Richardson. She is also preceded in death by two sisters Jean Lindenmuth, Ruth Helms, a brother, Herman Richardson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Rushing is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, J.W. Rushing, a son Ron Rushing, and wife Kay, a daughter Tonya Carter and husband Billy, four grandchildren, Brandon Rushing wife Shaunna, (their children Peyton, Parker, and Kinley), Brock Rushing, wife Erin (their son Shep), Breanna Carter, and Coburn Carter, and wife Charity.
