Mrs. Frances Davis Simpson passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was born on August 13, 1926 in Union County to the late W.C. and Glennie Baucom Davis. Mrs. Simpson is survived by one son Larry B. Simpson and wife Debra R. Simpson, daughter-in-law Jann P. Simpson. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Erin S. Parker and husband Scottie G. Parker, Suzanne S. Baucom and husband Barry L. Baucom, Chad L. Simpson and wife Jennifer L. Simpson, Cara S. Tarlton and husband J. Aaron Tarlton. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren, Kyler Parker, Bayden Parker, Evan Tarlton, Bryant Parker, Bryson Baucom, Cayson Tarlton and Lawson Simpson. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her husband Bruce M. Simpson and son Lanny E. Simpson. The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4602 Concord Hwy. Monroe, NC, 28110. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Simpson will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Lakeview Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
