Fred Fincher Gay, 70, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. He was born October 26, 1945 in Union County, NC son to the late Thomas Roy Nonie Fincher Gay. Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will visit prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 4:45 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Gay is survived by two daughters Darlene Kimmons of Matthews, and Gena Lyles of Lowell, a brother Keith Gay of Matthews, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
