Fred Mac Yow, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on September 29, 1936 son of the late William Cleve and Ola Hargette Yow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon in Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Yow was preceded in death by his wife, Belvia Boswell Yow. He is survived by a son, Michael Yow, a daughter, Angela Albright, both of Monroe, grandchildren, Keisha and Misti, great grandchildren, Walter, Kloie and Dyson. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
