Garren Wayne Moore, 33, of Marshville, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born March 1, 1982, in Mecklenburg County, NC to Gary Wayne Moore and Pamela Cochran Smith. Garren graduated from Piedmont High School and UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Colfax. Garren enjoyed dirtbike racing, boating, wakeboarding and was a sportbike enthusiast. Garren also thoroughly enjoyed his work as a Mechanical Engineer and loved to tinker. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his sister, Christon Moore Brantley and husband, Chad; step-mother, Laurie Greene; step-fathers, David Smith and Tony Quick; grandparents, Juanita Rowell, Frank Moore, Betty Morgan, and B.J. and Brenda Cochran; and three nephews, whom he loved dearly, Devin, Brenin, and Corbin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.
