Gary Michael Drake

Gary Michael Drake, 63 of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was born in Union County on January 5, 1960, son of the late Dwight Drake and Lynn Cuthbertson Drake. He was also preceded by his loving wife of 39 years Pamella “Pam” Trull Drake.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079 with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM in the church.

Gary is survived by his two sons, Jeff Drake (Amanda) and Justin “Bubba” Drake (Taylor-Rae), and four grandchildren, Bowen Drake, Banner Drake, Collins Drake, and Jack Drake, brother Ronnie Drake, mother-in-law, Camille Edwards, sister-in-law, Kim Edwards Braswell, husband Lamar “Leroy”, Aunt Frances Baucom.
