Gary Edward Long

Gary Edward Long, 71, passed away Sunday August 1, 2021. He is the son of the late Charles Edward Long and Lois Lemmond Snipes. He is also preceded in death by his son Jeffery Edward Craig Long and granddaughter Daniela Meza-Long. Funeral services will be held from the graveside 1:00PM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road Charlotte, NC 28227 with Military Honors. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00AM until 11:00AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Service & Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Kinsey Long; two daughters Salina Ozerol and Kerry Long; one brother Tony Snipes; three sisters Karen Heath, Edwina Starnes and Tabitha Schlappich; a grandchild Adrian Meza-Long and two great-grandchildren Kadan Meza-Long and Marcelo Meza-Long.
