George Braxton Eubanks

George Braxton Eubanks, 80, went home to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was born on July 31, 1933 son of the late Richard Allen and Lela Belk Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks was a US Army veteran and retired employee of Perfect Fit Industries. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Roanoke Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Eubanks is survived by his wife, Carolyn Little Eubanks, sons, Micah Eubanks and wife Monica, of Unionville, Steve Eubanks and wife Angela, of Monroe, daughter, Wanda Adcock and husband Dale of Unionville, grandchildren, Adam and Dustin Adcock, Kimberly Barley, Josh, Caleb, Dakota, Dalton, Hailey and Hannah Eubanks, great grandchildren, Adria and Matthew Adcock, Hayden and Addison Barley, Savannah and Bryson Adcock. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Eubanks and sister, Azalea Gordon. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
