George “Ricky” Hill, 67, of Monroe, NC passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born in Union County on June 23, 1953, son to the late G.B. Hill and Daisy Tucker Hill. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Griffin. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Ricky is survived by his loving wife Donna Kerley Hill; sons, Chris Hill and wife Rebecca of Monroe, and Jeremy Hill and wife Crystal of Monroe; grandchildren, Riley, Brooklyn and Gavin Hill; brother, Dennis Hill and wife Kim; sisters, Lynda Gordon and husband David and Peggy Baucom and husband Ted and brother-in-law, Keith Griffin.
