Geraldean Broadway Love

Mrs. Geraldean Broadway Love, 76, died Friday, October 10, 2008 in the Jesse Helms Center. A native of Union County, she was born January 30, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas E. and Eula Price Broadway. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 12th at 2:30 PM in the Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church, officiated by Elder Larry Austin and Elder Charles Smith. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Love is survived by three sons, Douglas Love of Raleigh, Wayne Love of Concord, David Love of Charlotte; five brothers, W. T. Broadway and Lowell Broadway of Indian Trail, Morris Broadway of New Salem, Kenneth Broadway of Charlotte, Larry Broadway of Monroe; three sisters, Frances Melton and Jeanette Hinson of Monroe, Catherine Baucom of Indian Trail; and four grandchildren. The family will visit with friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Web, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
