Geraldine Drew

Mrs. Geraldine Drew, 89, loving wife of Franklin L. Drew went to be with her Savior on Friday, October 18, 2019 after extended health problems. She was born October 4, 1930 daughter of the late Julius and Eula Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 1:45pm in the church sanctuary. Geri came from a large family of three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank Drew, two children Frankie Drew Ellise and husband, Frederic Ellise, Sr. and Teresa Drew; three grandchildren; Frederic Ellise, Jr. and wife Laurie, Jennifer Ellise Richardson, and husband Brad, and Christy Corum; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
