Mrs. Geraldine Helms Morris, 88, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born in Union County on December 18, 1934 daughter to the late Lloyd Augustus Helms and Annie Mae Price Helms, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband M.C. “Short” Morris as well as a daughter Deborah Sue Morris and a son, Phillip Morris, sister Alice Ann Helms and brother Dallas “Pete” Helms.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Helms officiating.

Geraldine is survived by her two sons, Tim Morris (Debbie), and Shane Morris (Matoka); two daughters, Mary Ford (Brian), and Lourie Morris (Darrell Hobbs); sister Wanda Medlin (Larry), eight grandchildren, Kathy Schaffer (Brock), Sheila Price, Michelle Philemon (Terry), Amy Braswell (Michael), Michael Morris (Sarah), Stacey Smith, Chris Morris (Jennifer) and Whitney Couick (Jonathan); twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
