Geraldine Caroline Williams

Geraldine Baucom Williams, 90, passed away peacefully May 26, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church Rest Home. She was the daughter of the late William Vann Baucom and Lydia Mable Long Baucom. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years Wayne Frazier Williams and second husband Billy Sunday Helms. As a life long Christian, Geraldine was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church for over 60 years. A graveside service will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Friends may drop by Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112 , Saturday, from 11:00AM to 11:45AM before the service to sign the register book and pay their respects. Geraldine is survived by her son Kelland Williams, wife Joyce of Monroe, NC; a daughter Shari DeFonce of Matthews, NC; sister Lydia Loretha Yelton of Monroe, NC; three grandchildren, Darius Williams, Jason DeFonce and Cynthia Ring and six great-grandchildren.
