Gladys Nell Stoltze Zellmer, 99, of Waxhaw, NC passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, daughter to the late William Stoltze and Anna Lovgren. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest John Zellmer and a daughter, Sallie Eileen Carlson A service of resurrection will be held at 1:00PM Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will be private in Waxhaw City Cemetery. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cameron, SC, and an Associate member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Lancaster, SC. Gladys is survived by her five children, John William Zellmer, wife Phyllis of Lowell, Wisconsin, Paul Robert Zellmer, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Patricia Elaine Pickett, husband James of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Marilyn Louise Greene, husband Clifford of Charlotte, North Carolina and son-in-law John of Bloomington, Minnesota, ten grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
