Glenda (Helms) Price

Glenda Helms Price, 74, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was born April 9, 1942 in Union County, daughter to the late George B. Myrtle Smith Helms. She is also preceded in death by her husband Nick Price, and a sister Pat Tomberlin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Glenda is survived by a brother Rev. Dennis Helms and wife Beverly, two sisters Delilah Hinson, husband Ron, Deborah Belk husband Roger “Pudge”, a sister-in-law Reba Price Clemmer, and husband Don, nieces and nephews; Melissa Lowery, Eric Hinson, Mike Helms, Jeff Hinson, Matt Belk and Kelly Tomberlin; grand-nieces and grand-nephews; Sarah Daugherty, Nathan Hinson, Garrett Hinson, Adam Hinson, Maddi Hinson, Mae Hinson, Tyler Helms, Avery Helms, Katie Lowery, Shelby Belk, Maeley Belk, Saddie Belk, and Danielle Hinson; great great Nephew Aiden Hinson.
