Glenn Robert Whitney, 77, passed away May 23, 2021. He was born August 15,1943 in Cornwall, New York and was the son of the late Edward Whitney and Sarah Lahey. The family will receive friends 2:00PM to 4:00PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Glenn was a wonderful husband and father. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Whitney; a daughter Margaret Whitney (Nikolas Zawodny) of Williamsburg, VA. and a sister Audrey Spiecha (Stanley) of Indian Land, SC.
