Glennie Marie (Braswell) Price

Marie Braswell Baucom Price, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014. She was born in Union County, NC on November 22, 1929 daughter of the late Solon and Lorena Baucom Braswell. Mrs. Price loved her family and her church members. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Mill Creek Baptist Church where she was an active member. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 until 12:45 at the church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husbands, Lynn Baucom and Donald Price, sons, Rodney Baucom and Lane Baucom. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Helms and husband Tommy of Indian Trail, step-son, Gene Price of Monroe, brothers, Weldon Braswell and Elton Braswell, both of Monroe; daughter-in-law, Carol Baucom; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
