Gwen Barrow Pittman, 96, of Union, SC passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was born in Walker County, AL on December 30, 1928, daughter to the late Vivian C. Barrow and Alice McSheridan Barrow. She is also preceded in death by her husband Dr. Albert B. Pittman Sr., son, William Sheridan Pittman, and daughter-in-law, Wanda W. Pittman. Gwen was an alumni of Auburn University and a devout War Eagle fan.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Campground, 2220 Billy Howey Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173.

Gwen is survived by her sons David Pittman (Nancy), Albert B. Pittman Jr., John F. Pittman (Marguerite), daughter, Jody A. Pittman, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
