Gwendolyn Benson

Dateline: Monroe, NC Gwendolyn Benson, 52, died at home on March 2, 2013. She was born in Hazard, KY on November 19, 1960. She was the daughter of Jean T. Benson and the late Rev. Robert C. Benson. Gwendolyn graduated from Monroe High School in 1978 and attended N.C. State University. She was a partner in PIP/ABC Printing of Monroe prior to the onset of her illnesses. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Monroe. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM in First Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Gwendolyn is survived by her mother, Jean T. Benson, of Monroe, her twin sister, Jennifer Benton and husband David of Charlotte, and aunt, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 302 E.
