Hal Quincy Rape, Jr., 63, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He is the son of Hal Quincy Rape, Sr. and Bobbie Jane Marks Harris. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, George Monroe Rape, Sr.; grandmother, Helen Brown Todd Rape; uncle, George Monroe Rape, Jr. and brother, Philip Rape. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Family will receive friends and relatives 12:30PM until 1:30PM Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Hal is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Harris Rape; two sons, Hal Rape III and Eric Rape; brothers, Greg Rape, Steve Edwards, Stan Edwards, David Edwards and Andy Edwards; sisters, Angie Hargett, Tracy Michaw and Julie Hill.
