Hanford Stanley Terwilliger

Hanford S. “Hank” Terwilliger, age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He was born December 17, 1947 in Middletown, NY, son of the late Stanley Terwilliger and Beatrice Goeltz Caul. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Terwilliger.

Funeral services will be held with full military honors 10:00AM, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Hank graduated from Newton High School, Newton, NJ and served in the US Navy from 1967 until 1970. After serving in the Vietnam War, he was a cook in Newton Hospital. He worked in the P&B woodworking business for over 30 years and retired in 2019.

Hank is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Bonnie Patterson Terwilliger, two sons; Tim Terwilliger (Ann) of Waxhaw, NC, Robert Terwilliger (Eva Boice) of Pine Bush, NY, two daughters; Lisa Adams (Tom Engels) of Waxhaw, NC and Jennifer Terwilliger of Suffern, NY, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, CoCo.
