Harvey Stewart Lynch, 57, of Monroe, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. He was born January 28, 1959, in Mecklenburg County, to Harold O. Hal Lynch, Sr. and the late Rosa Leigh Tyson Lynch. Harvey was a 1977 graduate of Independence High School. Upon graduation, he joined his family in business at Corral Motorcycles in Monroe, ultimately becoming President of the company. He was a member of the North Carolina Motorcycle Dealers Association, holding membership since 2008-2009. Harvey enjoyed motorcycles and anything motorcycle related, including racing. He is survived by his father; wife, Vivian Lea Lynch; brother, Harold O. Lynch, Jr., and wife, Cynthia, of Monroe; sister, Tanya Leigh Lynch French and husband, Jerry, of Port Charlotte, FL; and nephew, Harold O. Lynch, III, of Monroe. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evening, November 9, 2016, in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.
