Monroe, NC Hazel Purser Hilton, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was born April 27, 1920 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Zeno Bartley Purser and Sarah Rushing Purser. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Charles Hilton in 1994 and her son, Charles Dennis Hilton in 1989. She was also predeceased by siblings, Pauline Stevenson, James Harold Purser, Jake Purser, Zeno “June” Purser, and Jerry Purser. Survivors include her grandson, Charles Dennis “Chuck” Hilton, Jr. and wife Debora, granddaughter, Kimberly Hilton Padgett, all of Charlotte, great granddaughter, Victoria Padgett, daughter-in-law, Brenda Helms Hilton of Monroe, sisters, Mrs. Willie “Bill” Tarlton and husband Bob of Marshville, Mrs. Mildred Hall of Midland, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Lakeland Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Richard Myers. The family will receive friends following the service. The family would like to thank Carillon Assisted Living and Lake Park Nursing Rehabilitation for their wonderful care and assistance during Hazel’s illness.
