Mrs. Hazel Williams McManus, 71, of Monroe, NC passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, November 20, 2019. She was born in Wilkes County on March 29, 1948 to the late Millard AY Williams and Virginia Anderson Williams. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Shirley Richardson, Norma Jean Mills and Pearl Williams. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 25, 2019 at Lakeland Memorial Park. Hazel is survived by her husband of 30 years Doyle Lee McManus, three sons; Scott Benton (Becky), Kevin Benton (Danielle), Kyle Benton (Danyell), three sisters; Bobbi Campbell (Ray), Kathy Thomas (Larry), and Mary Williams, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as a close family friend, Cheryl Eaton.
