Mrs. Hazel Conder Williams, 93, died Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was born March 6, 1923 in Union County, NC daughter of the late Charles Clark and Arlater Long Conder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Gore Williams, daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Cookie) Williams and brother, J.C. Conder. Her life was in her work and church activities. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, 2701 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 AM prior to the service. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Gore Williams and wife Cheryl, two grandsons, Andy (Tracy) and Rodney (Beth) Williams, three great grandchildren, Claire, Ryan, and Michael Williams, and sister, Betty Broome, all of Monroe.
