The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM in New Living Word Church, 7513 Broomes Old Mill Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Burial will follow at New Living Word Cemetery (Silver Run) 7720 S. Rocky River Road, Monroe NC 28112. Mr. Reid is survived by his wife, Johnnie Richardson Reid, son, Rodney Heath Reid and wife Tracey of Monroe, daughter, Sherrie Annette Reid of Charlotte and 3 grandchildren.
