Helen Todd Rape, 97, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was born in Union County, NC on November 19, 1917 daughter of the late William and Odessa Tyson Todd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Monroe Rape and a son, George M. Rape, Jr. Mrs. Rape was a member of Mineral Springs United Methodist Church and owner of Todd’s Grocery and George’s Greenhouse in Mineral Springs. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Rape is survived by a son, Hal Q. Rape of Lancaster, SC, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
