Henrietta Attah
Boateng
July 24, 1987 – April 29, 2026
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dcns. Dr. Henrietta Attah Boateng, 38, of Waxhaw, NC on April 29th,2026. Born on July 24th, 1987 in Ghana, Dcns. Dr. Henrietta Attah Boateng was the beloved daughter of Nana Osei Baffour Akoto and Mrs. Grace Akoto.
At the age of three, she began her early education at Volta Barracks Preparatory School in Ghana. In 1995, Henrietta relocated to London, England, to join her father. While there, she attended Grennie Gibon Primary School in Deptford. Two years later, in 1997, her parents moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she continued her education at Thomasboro Elementary School. She later attended Coulwood Middle School and subsequently enrolled at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology High School. Henrietta was a proud member of the pioneer graduating class of 2005.
After high school, she attended Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina for three years before gaining admission to the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in Minneapolis, where she studied from 2008 to 2012. She successfully passed her board certification examination on her first attempt and, in 2012, began her career as a pharmacist with Walgreens Pharmacy. Henrietta worked with Walgreens for four years before transitioning to Walmart Pharmacy, where she embraced greater opportunities and benefits. Through her dedication and excellence, she rose to the position of Pharmacy Manager at Walmart Pharmacy in Chester, South Carolina, where she faithfully served until her passing.
Henrietta was a soft-spoken, humble, and compassionate woman whose warm smile touched countless lives. In 2011, she married Elder Kwaku Boateng in a beautiful ceremony, and their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Jude, Kaleb, and Gabriella.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Pentecost, Rock Hill Assembly, where she served faithfully as a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, and South Carolina District Children’s Ministry Leader. Henrietta was a tremendous blessing to her family, her church, her workplace, and the Ghanaian community in Charlotte, North Carolina.
All who had the privilege of knowing Henrietta can attest to the remarkable life she lived. Her passing has created a profound void that will be deeply felt by all who loved her. Though she is no longer with us physically, her legacy of kindness, faith, humility, and service will forever remain in our hearts.
