Herman Franklin Hannah

Herman Franklin Hannah, 81, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born August 26, 1932 in Union County, son of the late John and Minnie Lee Helms Hannah. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Diane Crump and brothers, Bill Hannah and Joe Hannah. He was retired from Springs Industries, after 34 years of service. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service. Mr. Hannah is survived by his wife, Ruby Tucker Hannah; sons, Johnny Ray Hannah, Dwayne Allen Hannah, Jerry Franklin Hannah and Roger Dale Hannah, all of Monroe; daughters, Mary Catherine Greene of Unionville and Lisa Ann Holms Malloy of Marshville; sister, Nancy Crump of Indian Trail; sixteen grandchildren and forty-seven great-grandchildren.
