Hugh Clark Hargette

Mr. Hugh Clark Hargette, 78, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013. Mr. Hargette was born on December 15, 1934 in Union County, NC to the late Clifford Hargette and Bonnie Hodge Helms. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Gordon Funeral Chapel starting at 2:00 PM. There will be a visitation held prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hargette is survived by his loving wife Rachel Richardson Hargette; his son Hugh Clark Hargette Jr. of Charleston, SC; His daughter Kim Hargette Huntley and husband Jimmy of Monroe, NC; his brother Charles Hargette of Monroe, NC; 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Hargette was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his daughter Tonya Hargette Brigman; and brothers Donald, Erskine, and Jack.
