Ida Capel, 86, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. She was born in Columbus County, NC on October 1, 1927 daughter of the late Nathan and Jane Barber Foley. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2:00 until 2:45 PM at Waxhaw Presbyterian Church followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Capel is survived by daughters, Judy Joyner and husband Carson, Brenda Stellpflug and Patricia Plattenburg, all of Waxhaw, grandchildren, Caroline Hassenplug, Richard Tyson and Roxanne Joyner, great grandchildren, Nina Joyner, Madalyn Joyner, Blake Hassenplug and Brittany Hassenplug.
