Monroe, NC Mrs. Ida Maloney Konecny 83, died Saturday December 27, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Winding Gulf, West Virginia on September 26, 1925 daughter of the late Wick and Emma Harris Maloney. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joseph Konecny. Mrs. Konecny is survived by sons, Patrick and Gary Konecny, both of Monroe, NC, daughter, Carol Ann Bland of Indian Trail, NC, sister, Nancy Messineo of Florida, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
