Ivan Merritt Moon,56, of Monroe NC, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

He was born June 17, 1966, in Blount County, Alabama, the son of Glenda Sloan Moon and the late Billy Ray Moon.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Central United Methodist Church, 801 South Hanes St. Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM in Central Hall.

In addition to his mother, Glenda Sloan Moon, Ivan is survived by his brother Blane Moon, wife, Kristen, and nieces Lindsay and Aniston Moon all of Monroe.
