Jack Coley

December 6, 1929 — February 22, 2025

Mr. Jack T. Coley, 95, of Marshville, NC passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was a native of Union County, born December 6, 1929 in the Olive Branch Community. He was a son to the late Henry Lee and Odie Griffin Coley. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha G. Coley; son, Jeff Coley; grandson, J Coley; sister, Peggy Yandle and brother, Bob Coley.



Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Olive Branch Baptist Church. The family will greet guests in the church fellowship hall following the service.



Jack was a dedicated member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. He was employed and retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation after 42 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Jack will be missed greatly by all who knew him.



Jack is survived by son Tim Coley (Lisa), daughter-in-law Freda Coley, four grandchildren; Liz Eudy (Josh), Madeline Schaaf (David), Amelia Helms (Andrew) and Julian Coley, four great grandchildren; Emerson Eudy, Addie and Averett Helms and Ruby Schaaf. He is also survived by a brother, Max Coley (Marcella) and sister, Eloise Little.



In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
