James * Abee

MONROE - James Lee Abee, 69, passed away Feb. 5, 2012. He was born in Gaston County on June 19, 1942, son of the late John Samuel and Claudia Louise Owens Abee. Mr. Abee was a minister with the Living Waters Ministries. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia. Mr. Abee is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Abee; son, James Abee Jr.; daughter, Karen Diane Abee, all of Monroe; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
