James Darrell Helms

James Darrell Helms, 77, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born July 30, 1931 in Chesterfield County, SC, son to the late John Daniel and Cleo Virginia Helms. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2008 in Lakeland Memorial Park. He is survived by one son Dennis Helms of Harrisburg; one daughter Hazel Isaac of Concord, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County 700 W.
