James "Jim" Hagarty

James Patrick Hagarty of Weddington, NC passed away on August 30, 2014. Jim was born on July 19, 1960 to Robert James Hagarty and Catherine Greim Hagarty in Burlington, NJ. In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by Susan Engel Hagarty, his beloved daughters, Kristen Anne Hagarty of Memphis, TN and Julia Anna Hagarty of Wilmington, NC; brother Michael Hagarty of Pine Hill, NJ; sisters Kelly Babcock (Christopher) of Wayne, PA, Kerry Richards (Andy) of Haddonfeild, NJ and Colleen DeRose (Rick) of Moorestown, NJ. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews. Jim lettered in Cross Country and Track at Moorestown, NJ and was a graduate of Winthrop University. He was an employee of the County of Union in the Tax Assessment Division. His love for music, including playing the guitar, brought him and those around him much joy and happiness. He loved to fish and cook, and could always be counted on to bring laughter to those around him. Jim was known for his outgoing, warm personality and taught those around him much about love and trust. He will be missed. Gordon Funeral Service Crematory is caring for the Hagarty family.
