James “Jim” William Hill, 74, of Monroe, NC passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born in Cabarrus County, NC on April 28, 1951, son of the late William Greene Hill and Alma Petrea Hill.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

James is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Barbara Emrick Hill, son, James William Hill (Oui), two daughters, Kelly Damrell, Erin Damrell (Kim), two grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Chase Martin, and sister Theresa Allman (Tim).
