James Donald Jackson

James Donald “Don” Jackson, 74, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014. He was born January 4, 1940 in Anson County son of the late Leck Thomas and Frankie Floyd Jackson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Lakeview Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Wanda Lee Jackson, daughters Lorie Helms of Monroe, Wendi Simpson and husband Jason of Indian Trail, a son Stanley “Chuck” Adcock and wife Sheryl of Lincolnton, brothers Carl Lee Jackson, and wife Marilyn of Peachland, Ray Jackson and wife Joann of Concord, sister Ruby Davis and husband Roger of Indian Trail, grandchildren Erica Helms of Canada, Deana Rivers and husband Scott of Polkton, Ashe Simpson and Jackson Simpson both of Indian Trail, great grandchildren Zachary Helms of Canada, and Trevor Rivers of Polkton. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the church.
