James Sr. Kristufek

James Paul Kristufek Sr, 74, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He was born February 18, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late John and Loretta Kristufek. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Kristufek Jr, and an infant brother and sister. James graduated from Moniteau, High School in Butler Co, PA. He retired from ATI of Monroe; He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, metal detecting and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00pm Friday, October 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese St, Monroe, NC, 28112, burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives from 12:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC, 28112. Mr. Kristufek is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Cheryl Kornrumpf Kristufek, son, James Kristufek II and his wife Kim of Waxhaw, NC, daughter Joyce Linker and her husband Charles of Batesburg, SC, brothers, Paul Kristufek wife Carol, Mark Kristufek wife Carol, Richard Kristufek wife Rebecca, all from Butler, PA, a brother-in-law Rod Kornrumpf wife Colleen of Middleton, DE, sister-in-law Barbara Kristufek of Harrisville, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
