James Randy Mullis

On October 5, 2021, James Randy Mullis of Monroe, North Carolina passed away at 66 Years old. Randy was born in Monroe, North Carolina June 25, 1955 to James Burnsie Mullis and Wife Mary Jo Funderburk Mullis. Randy is survived by his family, wife Susan Winchester Mullis and three sons Robert Mullis with wife Tiffanie, Allen Mullis with wife Jennifer and Russell Mullis with wife Erika all of Monroe NC. Randy is also survived by grandchildren Wyatt and Eli Children of Robert and Tiffanie of Monroe; Anna, Thomas, Cora and Carter, children of Allen and Jennifer; and Sarah and Carmen, children of Russell and Erika. Randy loved his children, family, and friends. He had a passion for farming and a mechanical aptitude that he applied through 40 years of career working in manufacturing. Randy was a loyal family man, a loyal friend, a strong supporter of his church and family. He loved horseback riding, working in the field and the smell of freshly turned soil. Randy will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral arrangements will be grave side at Lakeland Memorial Park October 7, 2021 at 11:00 am. A celebration of Life will be held at Smyrna United Methodist Church Sunday October 10, 2021 at 1:30pm for drop in visitation. Light refreshments will be available.
