James Michael Rainey

James Michael Rainey, 47, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013. He was born in Broward County, FL on June 29, 1966, son of the late James Ferrell Rainey and Alice Melcher Shallenberger. Mr. Rainey was the manager of Logan's Roadhouse in Monroe. He was an avid fisherman and Bigfoot hunter. He loved the Outer Banks, thus they will be his final resting place. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Lee Shallenberger; his sister, Kelly Marie Rainey; niece, Kayla Jane Green and nephew Scottie Green; and his dog, Carter James. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, his Logan's family and many friends. Celebration of life services will be Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 5:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112 conducted by Dr. Chris Baucom.
