James Edward Robinson

James Edward Robinson, 90, of Matthews, NC passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. He was born in Lancaster County, SC, on March 13, 1930, son to the late Elizabeth Robinson. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Gene Robinson and two sisters, Mary Alice Gilbert and Linda Clark. Services will be held at a later date. James is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Bobbie Howard Robinson, their two sons, Edward Robinson (Susan) and James Robinson (Terese), brother, Stephen “Butch” Carter, sister, Lucy Cole, four grandchildren, Tyler Robinson (Jordan), Lauren Robinson (Fiancé Bryson Rider) Kaitlin Robinson Wallace (John Daniel) and Mary Meaghan Robinson; three great-grandchildren, Elise Robinson, James Tate Wallace and John Gray Wallace.
