Ronnie Starnes, 47, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born in Union County on September 28, 1967, son of James Leroy and Jewell Thomas Starnes. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM in Prospect United Methodist Church, followed by burial in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 2:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Starnes is survived by his wife, Angie S. Starnes; son, Matthew B. Starnes and wife Brandy of Monroe; daughter, Stephanie S. Huneycutt and husband Jesse of Monroe; Dylan Stogner of Monroe; brother, Chris Starnes of Lancaster; sister, Beverly Phillips and husband Doug of Waxhaw; and grandchildren, Wesley, Allie and Wyatt.
