James Gregory Thomas

James Gregory Thomas, 58, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He was born on January 15, 1961 in Mecklenburg County to the late Clifton Thomas and Jo Anne Allen Thomas. He is preceded in death by two brothers Aubry Thomas and Dale Thomas, and sister Karen Ann Thomas. A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow at Forest lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM-11:45AM. James is survived by his son Gregory Thomas (Allyson), three grandsons Bryson Thomas, Caleb Thomas, and Maddox Thomas; five brothers Vaughn Thomas, Jerome Thomas (Nancy), Ricky Thomas (Suzanne), Rodney Thomas (Myra), Anthony Thomas (Robin); and sister, Norma Brown (Jimmy).
