James Donald “Bud” Tucker, 76, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was born in Union County, NC on November 15, 1937 son of the late George and Frona Whitley Tucker. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church, 3703 Mary Elizabeth Church Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173. Mr. Tucker is survived by sons, Donald Tucker of Mt. Croghan, SC, James Tucker and Tommy Tucker, both of Lancaster, SC, daughters, Gail Tucker of Pageland and Wanda Wilson of Mt. Croghan, SC, sisters, Ruby Hannah, Faye McCain, Betty Sparks and Sally Griffin, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Mae Dean Carter Tucker and a son, Eric Victor Tucker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church.
