James Douglas Ware

James Douglas Ware, 60, passed away November 19, 2014. James was born in Gaston County, NC, on November 28, 1953 to the late James Douglas Ware and Bonnie Carleen Moore Ware Black. He was a retired detective of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service at 1:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. James is survived by his loving wife Linda Susan Biggers Ware; son James Douglas Ware Jr.; daughters Shannon Long and Chrissy Jackson; sister Susan Ware Aloway; and 7 grandchildren.
