Janet Lynn Marze Ekren, 60, of Mt. Holly passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born in Melbourne, FL on January 19, 1963, the daughter of Walter Marze and Patsy Flowe Marze, she was also preceded in death by her sister Karen Marze.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will follow the visitation in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Janet is survived by her husband, David Ekren, two sons, Travis Aldridge (Brandy), and Jacob Aldridge, brother Walter Marze Jr. (Christine) sister, Kathy Marze (David Griffith), and eight grandchildren, Jaelyn Aldridge, Junior Lance, Tristan Lance, Grayson Aldridge, Addison Ekren, Berkleigh Ekren, Cooper Ekren, and Tiffany Truglio.
