Mrs. Janet Isabel Smith Little, 89, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. She was born in Union County on March 3, 1933, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Smith and Daisy Tarleton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother Jerome Smith.

Funeral services will be held 2:30PM on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Methodist Church, 6722 NC 218, Marshville, NC 28103. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:15PM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112

Janet is survived by two daughters; Linda Little of Marshville, NC and Lorraine Carey of Charlotte, NC as well as one sister Cecelia Smith Pritchett (Wayne).

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Ave, Charlotte, NC 28226.
