Janet Dandridge Miller

Janet Dandridge Miller, 90, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born January 19, 1932 in Kermit, WV the daughter of the late Harry and Grace Barr Dandridge. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Thomas Edward Miller, Sr. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women. She is a 1953 graduate of The College of William and Mary where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. She continued her medical technology studies at The University of Virginia.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, 1712 Carmel Church Road, Monroe, NC  28112.  The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service in the Family Life Center.

Janet is survived by a son, Thomas E. Miller, Jr., two daughters, Katherine M. Rodgers (Frank) of Charlotte, Susan M. Enright (Steve) of Charlotte, four grandchildren, Annamae Rodgers, Frank Rodgers, Jr., Katherine Maddox (William), Sarah Rodgers all of Charlotte. Two great-grandchildren, Jane and Lawrence Maddox.

The family would like to thank all caregivers that provided care for our mother during the past year.
